Offense propels Delweld to win over Wise
Ben Legath was 2-for-3 including a two-run home run over the right-field fence in the fourth to propel Delweld to a win over Altoona’s Wise Trailers in the first game at Roxbury Park on Monday.
Legath finished with three RBI, Matt Martin was 3-for-4 and drove in two runs and Zach Solarczyk was 2-for-3 including a double with two RBI for Delweld (13-1), which also got a double and two runs scored from Ian Helsel, a double and a RBI from Luke Campbell and a double from Drew Hemminger.
Jake Stern and Nate Pope were both 2-for-3 for Wise.
